Website/Mod TO DO list

This thread is just a mental note to myself what website changes and mod changes I want to work on when I get a chance:

- dgVoodoo page (framerate fixes) needs to be updated to reflect latest version

- Last Resort Launcher code needs fixing. Easy for it to get confused when dgVoodoo misbehaves and causes Swat 3 to crash during a map load (error about not being able to display 640x480 window). We end up with "swat_original.exe" and "swat.exe" being the same and this causes an error message. Need to check the comparison code and skip over the rename/backup process if identical rather than throwing an error.

- Continue working on making website template more mobile friendly

- link the Swat 2 movies on Tactical Ape in crash fix page. Mention other problems + fixes.

Don't think I've updated dgVoodoo since I set it up, just went to the website and see partnership with GoG has begun, that is awesome less work on the users end! wonder if GoG will go back and set it up for SWAT 3.

Huh, looks like I'm on 2.53 of dgVoodoo, so only a version behind though the changelog for 2.54 seems hefty enough.

Ya tons of new features from the version I had! Exciting stuff to see what settings help improve the look of Swat 3.

This was the Canada day long weekend so not very productive. It was also during the Steam sale so I spent about $100 and in the process of playing those games. Distractions! Distractions!

I looked at the Last Resort Launcher code and marked where I need to make the fixes I mentioned in the first post.

In the first post I mentioned I need to fix the Last Resort Launcher code because of dgVoodoo crashes confusing the mod. I was wrong about that, lol. The problem comes from when you have the Last Resort mod activated and you shut down Swat 3. If you run GOG.com's Galaxy Client and hit INSTALLATION REPAIR it will re-download swat.exe and overwrite the current file (thus making the "active" game executable the same as the swat_original backup).

See about removing items in the forum profile such as birthday. There is a way...I just can't recall right now.
