Here is the fourth test build of the Last Resort mod that supports NeuWon,  fixes all the remaining menus, and adds new map textures.

Thanks Jim!  We all appreciate your hard work on LR.  Downloading now, will test and let you know how it goes.

Edit:  Tested for about 3 hours, trying out the maps.  So far, so good!  As always great work!

Thanks for testing.

Some of the new AI textures need further tweaking. Sometimes parts of them almost look like melted plastic but can be salvaged in Photoshop later on.

I am trying not to be a perfectionist in the initial first pass with the AI software. I do reject a lot of the results but I also make a judgment call if they are repairable later.

So far I am not happy with how the transparent .tga textures get AI "improved".

I am going to keep plugging away at the textures for the foreseeable future. Now that the framework exists it is time we start to visually see what the mod can do.

I still have to also work on the server. Need to work with the owner of NeuWon to see if their is a better way to register CD keys.

Thanks to you! And yeah, I totally agree! It would be cool to see high resolution textures and skyboxes especially, some are going to be difficult to recreate.

You may recall I had once posted a mod I made for personal use for SWAT3. Basically it combines all extras released by Sierra (weapon packs, characters etc.) alongside many other smaller mods and tweaks here and there. It also makes the gameplay slower, as I always found the original movement speed too hectic. Luckily it can easily be deactivated via your Launcher for online games.
