Ah okay. That is logical actually because the Career Restore screen centers and I left it 800x600. Should have tested if the Career Save did also. Once again 10 years since I tested this shit.
Thanks for find that out.

Is this the case on the map screens with the points?
Anything else on the screens we need to work out, before moving to other aspects of the game?

Some screens are logical to leave them as 800x600 such as the save/restore screens because they then appear to look like "pop -ups" over a larger resolution background.
The map screen would look wrong as a "pop-up".
All the other work is done already. As far as I know the career save was the last hurdle.
Sorry I haven't been online much or been active this last week, Wasn't feeling well all week and is probably why I was grumpy/short tempered/brisk in my forum responses. Starting to feel better now.

Just did a test with the default save_background.bmp 800x600 screen in the Last Resort 1920x1080 environment.
Yes, it centered the background and most of the screen elements. The only problem was that the input box wasn't centered and the text while typing in that box didn't show up. I will have to turn this into a 1920x1080 screen after all (leaving the screen elements in the top left.

it's up to you..
I can locate the values for it just to have it in case you decide to go with another setup..

I think I will just go with the work around and probably also make the restore career screen 1920x1080 to match. Thanks though.
