Last Resort Video Resolutions Issues.

3840 x 2160 and 30Hrz is my normal resolution.

And when I opened up Last Resort nothing showed up in the 3-D Section no nothing. Same thing when I clicked on the 32-bit box.


When I'm in my game folder I will Right Click on Last Resort and Run as Admin then this message comes up....

After clicking OK... The Last Resort Mod screen comes up

When I click on the 32-Bit color box the 16-Bit box comes back up

I then press the OK button then this shows up

And nothing happenes when I click on the hide different aspect ratios box.

When I go to the 2-D setting this shows up

Then this shows up when i check Force Resolution Availability

I'm not sure if this is normal or a problem due to the 3-d settings. I figured it might help you out!!!!

That is a really strange refresh rate for a gaming monitor, lol.

The box on the 3D settings tab labelled "available screen modes" should show every resolution that your system can do at the same refresh rate as your monitor. If your "desktop" is presently at 30hz it should show every available resolution for that frequency with 16-bit colour. If you click on the 32-bit colour check box it should show them for 32-bit colour instead of 16-bit (this was meant for people with Windows 10 if they had trouble since Windows8/10 only can emulate 16-bit colour mode).

I have a several Windows 10 machines at home that only display their 16-bit colour available resolutions if you put the Last_Resort.exe into Windows 7 compatibility mode.

The 2D tab is behaving exactly as expected considering no resolutions were reported on the 3D tab. The Last Resort mod has 5 different custom 2D menus that only run on those 5 resolutions listed. If your system can't do any of those resolutions you get the red warning text show.

OK the 2-D I though worked fine just wanted to include it just to be sure.

And I don't know why it cant detect my resolutions with my monitor I've tried Refresh Rates from 30 - 24 and nothing seems to work. Very Strange! Lol

Let me check the code. I vaguely remember the code dismissing any hz results out of a certain range. I remember seeing that old code a few months ago and wondering why I did it that way. Perhaps that is why you are getting zero results.

UPDATE: Woops! It may be my fault. I see that the code rejects any frequency below 49hz for whatever reason. I assume it made sense to me at the time. I never anticipated anyone using such a low frequency. This is extremely short sighted considering many people outside of North America don't use 60hz electricity, lol.

Let me fix this and email you a replacement Last_Resort.exe to see if it fixes your problem of not seeing any resolutions.

I don't know why my monitor will not let me go any higher than 30 Hrz my monitor goes up to 120 Hrz and for some reason it stopes at 30 my graphic card detects up to 120Hrz but for some reason i cant go above 30 Hrz.

And I never received the email.
