compsound does not output

hey guys. I got issue with compsound.exe.
my wav file are not showing converted into cmp anywhere on my PC

I ve tried like it says here www.gog.com/forum/swat_series/does_the_s...ork_or_is_it_just_me

but cmpdnd.ini simply can not save as its been changed.
I made some flashbang sound, I d like to test ingame.

Move a copy of the cmpdnd,ini to your desktop to modify the file outside the windows folder and after your changes save and drag and drop the file back into your windows folder. I do not like messing with file permisions and app permissions, that is how I did it. Hope this helps.

The save file path cannot be in a protected directory like C:\Windows\
I used OutDir=C:\Sierra\SWAT3\Tools\Compsound
Program doesn't support drag and drop on some windows 10 machines.
Use file - Convert Files to convert.

the sound I ve made, is such a trash.. just tested. its real Flashbang sound though.

well, yes.
the thing I ve tried to get is some kind of splashing sound indoor, for shockgranade, same like you here on this video
The nearest sound I wish like to get is the shotgun sound..but its shotgun, as simple as that

Im very satisfied with default last resort gun sounds, which I use alongside weapons mod. So I had to change all xrtrt-weaponsmod sounds to default ones.
but flashbang is just bad.
My new sound sounds good, but ingame its volumed down, way too soft, no shock at all

the best one I can get so far for flashbang is the one from Enhancements_1.5 mod.
