Weird Last Resort mod issue on Windows 10

Hi everyone,

THANK YOU! first of all for making this mod..........awesome.

Now regarding my issue:

I installed Swat 3 Elite on my Win 10 64 bit machine no problem.

Installed the L.R. mod no problem.

The issue is that I still get a windowed in game screen on my desktop and not a wide screen in game screen!

Can anyone help me? I suspect it's the resolution in the L.R. mod.

Sorry for the late reply. This forum software has a buggy "Latest Post" module and I forgot to manually check to see if anyone had posted.

This is a very strange problem you are having. The only thing that I can think of is that you have some left over setting.

• Are you always starting Swat 3 with the Last Resort Launcher? If not perhaps you still have a -window command set on the Swat 3 shortcut? Would only happen if you manually added it to shortcut


• The Last Resort launcher also can start the game with a command line setting for -window on the "Other" tab. Make sure the tick box for "use command line arguments for Swat 3" isn't ticked just to be sure.


• A wrong setting in dgVoodoo? Check the configuration by running "dgVoodooSetup.exe"


• Did you have DxWnd still installed by mistake?


• Is Swat 3 running in Software mode by mistake (Swat 3's options - 3D adapter setting)? This shouldn't affect window mode but who knows.

Hi Jim,

I finally managed to get it running!

I downloaded a No cd crack but I still needed to put in the disc.

So much for the so called "Crack."

What's the story with the MCC Swat 3 mod I see?
Can I make another version of Swat 3 but using that mod?

I am very confused now. The Last Resort mod installs and uses special hacked "NO CD" cracks and wouldn't affect the window or full screen setting. You must not be running the Last Resort mod yet (remember you have to launch the game with the custom Last Resort launcher to activate it).

If you were installing the game from a retail CD then I can see why you had problems too. Modern versions of Windows don't like the Safedisk copy protection that Swat 3 was released with. I am surprised it just didn't crash to be honest.

As for the MCC mod I know nothing about it, sorry. Got a link for this mod?

There is a toggle button in the top right of the Last Resort launcher to turn the mod completely off or on. It will return your game back to completely vanilla Swat 3.

Are you updating your elite version to 2.1 before installing the LRM?

I don't think this would affect the window mode problem. Just stating the obvious in the OP.
